A section for reflection upon the unfortunate brevity of the human condition,
and the particularly-applied desirability of bringing it about.
When I next build up enough venom, the target may well be one of the these:
- Owners of ridiculously oversized 4x4's, for whom "off-road" means the
gravel drive in front of their house, and who then whinge self-righteously about
the scandalous price of petrol (ever thought about getting a vehicle which
doesn't have a 4.6 litre engine?), the air pollution (likewise?) and the
deplorable traffic congestion (or one which doesn't take up about 30% more
road area than even an estate car?).
- The passing of crap laws, created to pander to the sensationalism
and moralising hypocrisy of various sources of low-grade toilet roll
masquerading as newpaper, sparked by abhorrent but also exceptional criminal
cases, drafted with sufficient (or, if you prefer, sufficiently creative)
incompetence that the actual effect is completely different than the effect
which was - at least ostensibly - intended, which outlaw acts which were
already illegal.
The remainder of the foyer is temporarily closed until I get round to writing
some more material.
